In May 2025, the Cooperativa Operai Cavatori del Botticino obtained Gender Equality Certification, issued by an accredited body in accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022.

This voluntary certification, structured similarly to other management system standards, attests to the Cooperative’s concrete commitment to promoting organizational models, behaviors, and processes grounded in equity and inclusion.

 

As part of this journey, the Cooperative has adopted a Gender Equality Management System (GEMS), a structured framework designed to ensure and monitor equal opportunities and professional growth over time, while fostering an inclusive culture and actively supporting women’s empowerment.

 

The system defines objectives, indicators, and targeted actions aimed at preventing disparities in treatment and combating all forms of discrimination related to gender, cultural differences, or any other personal condition, as well as any form of harassment.

 

For the Cooperativa Operai Cavatori del Botticino, this recognition forms part of a broader vision aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda—particularly the goal of achieving gender equality by ensuring full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life.
